Optometrists in Brunswick, ME

(Formerly Dr. Gallagher) Dr. Hildreth grew up in North Yarmouth, ME. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in cognitive science and psychology, with a focus in neuroscience. She then attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL where she earned her Doctorate in Optometry. While in school, Dr. Hildreth completed many specialty rotations, including cornea and dry eye, contact lenses, binocular vision, ocular disease and glaucoma management. Dr. Hildreth has a special interest in neurological optometry and glaucoma. She is a member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association and the Maine Optometric Association.

Dr. Poulin grew up in Oakland, ME. As a third generation optometrist caring for patients in Maine, she is excited to return to practice in her home state following the lead of her grandfather, Dr. Donald Poulin, and her uncle, Dr. Phillip Poulin.
She graduated from the University of Maine at Orono in 2018, receiving a bachelor’s degree in biology. She then went on to attend the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA where she completed her Doctorate of Optometry in May 2022.
Through her schooling, Dr. Poulin was able to learn from many great ODs and MDs. She gained experience in the monitoring and management of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, macular degeneration and corneal conditions including the use of contact lenses.
She will be joining the practice as a primary eye care provider with a special interest in contact lenses and ocular disease.
Outside of Optometry Dr. Poulin enjoys spending time with family and friends outdoors on the beaches, lakes and mountains of Maine.
